unrefined shea butter (48%), virgin palm kernel oil, plantain leaf ash
and tree bark. This black soap has no added preservatives, colour
enhancers, or fragrances.
Agbanga Karite is a co-operative dedicated to building African self empowerment, reducing gender inequality, and diminishing the colonial legacy in West Africa.
This cooperative produces unrefined shea butter, African black soap and indigenous oils in central Togo under organic guidelines. Members receive fair and steady incomes. In addition, part of the group's income goes back to local communities in the form of community projects, AIDS and malaria outreach, and educational scholarships.
