Baladarshan

SPEED Trust (Slum People Education and Economic Development) is a Public Trust which acts in the slum areas of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. SPEED Trust has set up various producer groups of women and young people who are paid in advance for their work at rates respecting Fair Trade criteria, enabling them to earn a decent living. The products are marketed by BALADARSHAN, a partner of SPEED Trust and member of the Fair Trade Federation.
