The second European Fair Trade Fair will take place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of October this year. The event will be held at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, France and will host a full conference programme, workshops and exhibitions.

The two main European Fair Trade networks, FLO (Fairtrade Labelling Organizations) and WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization), will present their strategic reviews for the upcoming years. The conference programme will explore topical issues relating to Fair Trade. The main topics this year will be:

- The European Union
- Guarantees and regulations
- The impact of Fair Trade
- Fair Trade and the environment
- Public aid for development, decentralized cooperation
- Financial stakes
- Textiles and collective purchasing
- Distribution networks and chains
