CTGV

Corporación Talleres del Gran Valle (CTGV) is a non-profit organization that offers a fair trade and environmentally sustainable form of employment for people living in the province of Imbabura in rural Ecuador. The organisation is made up of several community cooperatives and has a loofah workshop in the community of San José de Magdalena in the Valley of Manduriacos. Here, toiletries are made from raw vegetable loofah grown in the valley along with other local raw materials such as seeds, abaca yarn and banana fiber.
