Juniper essential oil is a valuable oil which can be used for treating nervous tension and anxiety, for the urinary tract, for over-eating and obesity and for skin care. This oil has a gently stimulating and revitalising effect and is thought to be helpful in a crisis.

Safety info: Juniper oil is considered non-toxic but since it can stimulate the uterine muscle it should not be used during pregnancy, with babies nor by people with urinary tract disease or kidney problems.
  • In burners and vaporisers - for treating addictions, nervous tension, hangovers, over-indulgence of food and to stimulate the nervous system
  • As a blended massage oil or in the bath - for colic in adults, arthritis, cellulite, nervous tension, cystitis, pain in passing urine, hangover, swollen joints, liver problems and muscle fatigue
  • In lotions and creams - useful for oily skin and acne, eczema, dermatitis, blocked pores, psoriasis and other inflammatory skin ailments.
  • On a compress - juniper oil can be used diluted on a compress for arthritis, eczema and general infections.
