This species of Eucalyptus has a refreshing lemon-citrus scent and makes an excellent insect repellent. It also has great benefit in clearing the mind, refreshing rooms and for massaging sore and aching muscles. Botanical name: Eucalyptus citriodora

Aroma: Fresh and cooling, very similar to citronella.
Aromatherapy properties: Cooling, stimulating and refreshing
Blends well with: Lavender, Rosemary, Thyme, Marjoram, and Cedarwood.

Safety Info: May irritate those with sensitive skin and should be avoided when taking homeopathic remedies.
  • In burners and vaporisers: Add up to 10 drops to keep insects away, to freshen and deodorise rooms and to clear the mind.
  • In foot spas: To refresh and cleanse tired feet, add up to 5 drops to a bowl of warm water or footbath and soak for ten minutes.
  • As a blended massage oil: Add up to 10 drops of to 20ml of carrier oil or unscented massage oil to massage sore and aching muscles.
