Lisu Hill Tribe

Women of the Lisu hill tribe in northern Thailand make their clothing from coloured cloth which is trimmed with rows of multicoloured stripes of cloth, applique patchwork, tassels, and beadwork. These Lisu products are marketed by Thai Tribal Crafts, a Fair Trade Organisation that aims to improve the livelihood of the tribal people.
