Sindyanna of Galilee is an organization that strives to develop Palestinian farming and secure Palestinian land against confiscation by the State. Run jointly by Arab and Jewish women, Sindyanna promotes products from olive cultivation, the sole agricultural sector inside Israel that remains distinctly Palestinian.
Combining commercial activity with community work, Sindyanna functions as a packaging and distribution outlet for Palestinian farmers from inside Israel and the West Bank.
A member of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) and Israel Bio-Organic Agriculture Association, Sindyanna and its products have been recognized internationally for upholding the Fair Trade practices and for the quality of the products. Through Sindyanna, hundreds of small farmers can get their olive oil products to market at a fair price.
