TEMAK

The Teenage Mothers and Girls Association of Kenya (TEMAK) provides job training in tailoring, hairdressing, secretarial skills, craft making and computer skills to unmarried mothers, girls and others from the Obunga slums. This organisation provides the community with an educational forum for HIV/AIDS awareness. Many of the young women at TEMAK participate in making crafts, thereby earning an income to support themselves and their families. TEMAK is a registered Fair Trade Organisation and WFTO member.
