Thai Tribal Crafts

THAI TRIBAL CRAFTS (TTC) promotes handicrafts from the mountain villages of the hilltribes of northern Thailand. TTC aims to provide opportunities for improving the quality of life of tribal people. Seven hill tribes are involved - the Akha, Hmong, Karen, Lahu, Lawa, Lisu and Mien groups, as well as many women working in Chiang Mai. TTC's main goal is to pay the producers the highest price possible. Any financial gain beyond basic needs goes back to the tribal people in the form of benefits. Thai Tribal Crafts has been a member of IFAT since 2002.
